We got some more recording done this weekend, although for my part I only had to do guitars on one song. It was mostly drums and bass for a few songs - we spent a lot of time playing Guitar Hero on the Playstation, which was a ton of fun.

I’m liking the new recording studio; although it’s a bit strange that there are no isolation booths. Everything is recording in the same large room (obviously not at the same time!).

We also tried running my Line 6 head through a small Orange cabinet, but the sound just wasn’t happening for me; when we switched over to the regular Marshall cab, everything was nice like expected. The engineer said that the Orange was easier to record, because of the speaker pattern or something - but that’s really not important if the sound isn’t working.
