Just vocal stuff today, though. Yasu wanted to re-do some of his vocals on one song, and we needed chorus on another couple of songs.

One thing that was a little different is that we had used a bit of dialogue from a movie in the pre-pro of one song. Now, though, for the actual recording I re-did the line, rather than having to worry about clearing a sample and also because the timing didn’t fit exactly right with the actual dialogue. I won’t say the line or the movie, but maybe if you hear it you can figure it out. There are lots of little inside things like that when doing the recording, at least for us, and I’ve got to guess for many other bands as well.

Anyway, we’ve got a lot of dates for next month, and the plan is to try to finish all the recording over the course of the month. I wouldn’t bet the farm on that, but we are going to try!
