Happy New Year!
I hope everyone had/is having a great New Years’! Tamiko and I went to the temple in Naha and to a couple different department stores to get fukubukuro. This is like a “mystery gift bag”, where the contents are (usually) unknown and supposedly worth more than the price you pay. What was neat about this was this was the first time either of us and gotten fukubukuro, so it was pretty exciting.
We did get some cool things, like a roll-up magnetic dartboard and a cool wall clock with a thermometer and hydrometer. Stuff that’s neat to have, but you wouldn’t buy for yourself, you know?
