Murderball

MurderballWe watched Murderball the other day.

This is a tight movie - the people are very interesting, very driven - not just to overcome the physical disability thing, but also just to win. I guess I’m ignorant, but I never even knew there was a Paralympics after the Olympics every time. It wasn’t exactly surprising, but it was interesting.

The film was well done, you really got a sense of the players and the game, as well as some insight into the life change that being injured and becoming a quadraplegic must be. Seeing the young military guy who was recently injured lighting up when he first saw the rugby guys was pretty cool.

Anyway, if you are in the mood to for an inspirational film, in the sense of being driven to compete and succeed, this is a good one.

    Hello to my brother Jason,
I write to you today to say hello and see you soon. On the 27th I fly out, retired and all that stuff. I look forward to hanging out with you, me, Nory, and Tami-tam again. Just letting you know the Deal-E-Yo.
Oh, and the answer to all three of your questions for the War of the Worlds blog would be,
    1. Hollywood!!!
Speilberg has Tom Cruise do a movie for him……. I don’t mind his movies but I swear he over acts every part he does.
Anyway, take it easy and practice up on your Big Hair Metal and Butt-Rock licks,…. Clay is on the way.
