So, Civ4 is just not holding my interest. Maybe the patch will fix the problems, but right now, it’s just not fun…too many bugs, especially the “peace treaty bug”, where you can pretty much get whatever you want.

So, I’ve been playing Age Of Empires III instead - I’m a little over halfway into Act II, and it’s pretty good so far. I liked Age of Mythology pretty well - well enough to play it online a few times anyway. (Had to give that up, because the online service wasn’t smooth enough - it was too easy for someone who was losing to disconnect and cause you to lose XP … I heard this was still a problem.)

I like RTS games well enough, but they are to taxing to play without taking a little break after each scenario. I still prefer a turn-based environment or a FPS, but I’ll probably play through at least the whole single player campaign in AoE3, and maybe keep it around for a little while longer.
