We are pretty much done with the first round of pre-pro and are tentatively planning on starting actual recording next month in Tokyo. While there is still just a little bit of discussion left on the arrangement of one particular song, the first EP stuff is pretty much done…I hope! This is sure slow going, slower than I expected.

We did begin working on a brand new song last night. It’s from a song I wrote a while back, and we actually played it once in ushimitsudoki, at least the main parts of it. It has a totally different verse part and arrangement now. Yasu always liked it a lot (that’s why we did it in ushimitsu), so we had demo’ed up a rough version of it a while back and everyone seemed to like it OK.

That being said, it was nice to at least break out into a little bit of a new area, after really working the first batch of songs so hard. The bare bones are in place, and the process begins again!
