We had practice Friday night. Here’s a thing about that - right now, Spice is remodeling one practice area, so everyone has to share the other practice area. So, often you have to wait around a little bit past your time, to wait on the other band to finish. This is not a problem, and is expected to a certain degree. I always try to bring out my laptop, or some new CDs, or something like that in case we have to wait.

So, lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Danzig lately. I used to listen to Danzig all the time, but after blackacidevil (Danzig V), I pretty much stopped. I recently got the last two Danzig CDs, and they are pretty good, so I’ve been listening to the whole catalog. Anyway, I was trying to talk to Manabu about Danzig, and he didn’t seem to know who that was. I said you know, “Mother”. He didn’t know the song - I played it for him, and he didn’t know this song. I asked the other members - no one knew this song. The band we were waiting on (High and Mighty Color) came out, and I asked thier guitar player, Meg: he didn’t know the song.

Wow. I thought everyone would at least know “Mother”, but I guess Danzig never really made it over to Japan or something.

I told the guys we are going to have to get together and have a metal school once a month or something.
