I’ve got a really bad memory. This especially sucks because if I don’t play a song for a couple of weeks, I’ll forget it. So, last practice we were working on King Gorilla, and wanted to go over some of the older material, just to take a break.

So, someone suggested “Condor”, which was always a little bit hard for me to remember anyway. Maybe because it was one of the last songs for me to learn, and so my brain was fulled up? Anyway, sure enough I couldn’t remember how to play the damn song. Fortunately, it only took about 10 minutes to sit down and re-figure it out (with much help from Mamaru). We did a couple of others as well, but I mostly made it through those, just a little snag here and there.

On a similar note, Manabu is back for practicing (because Japanese tax season is over), and he wanted to play Air Raid, the song we finished for the Omnibus CD. We tried, except I couldn’t remember the chorus part! I suck. So, I’m bringing out the laptop to practice tonight so we can listen to the isolated guitar tracks and re-learn the parts.
