We just got done with some more pre-pro. Unfortunately, the studio lost the tracks to one of our songs, and we had to re-do it. It took about 3 1/2 hours to re-record the parts. This is with the fake MIDI drums and no vocals, and one more guitar track needs to be laid as well. It takes longer than you might think to record, even if it’s a “quick and dirty” job like we are doing for pre-production.

It was a bit frustrating, but at least we were able to incorporate some of the new changes in this recording.

I was working on a little guitar melody, but couldn’t get the fine points worked out, so we just left it out.
