I saw Napoleon Dynamite this weekend. It’s currently got a 7.3 at the IMDB, but I think that’s a little high.

It’s a quirky movie, offbeat and nostaligic for the late 80s/early90s. It wasn’t as funny as I had hoped from seeing the previews, it’s actually a bit more sincere than I thought it would be.

That being said, it does have some very funny, laugh-out-loud scenes and lines, and it was worth watching. I was interested enough to check out some of the DVD features, and I enjoyed the deleted scenes. I didn’t bother with the commentary, though. I wasn’t that interested.
