I just added a new page for Hougen.

In case you didn’t know, Hougen is a dialect of Japanese that is spoken on Okinawa. Each island has it’s own Hougen, and many younger people don’t speak very much Hougen.

I think it’s pretty neat, so I thought I’d put up a page where I could collect various Hougen. I’m not trying to make a dictionary or anything like that, these are just phrases that I hear occasionally and that I can remember to ask someone what they mean.
